Pre-Christian Stone Carvings - National Museums of Ireland Our client, Deri Jones and Associates requested ourselves to grade, colour some exact replicas of a selection of Pre-Christian Stone Carvings. Our client uses state of the art mobile laser scanning equipment to plot out a digital CAD image of the stone carvings without physically touching them. The CAD images are used to create 99% accurate durable replicas of the stones that are to be displayed to the public. The SLS were produced by MEC Cardiff. This method can be used to replicate many priceless artefacts that cannot be handled to avoid risk of damage.
