04/02/2010 - 236 - GCCSI / Atticus Digital Media - Cube Model - We are happy to announce that we were selected by Atticus Digital Media to build a 1 metre cube model of a cross section of the earth, with the use of LED trailing lights we were able to demonstrate the stages required for the movement of CO2 gas to be stored.

04/02/2010 - 235 - CNN Promotional DVD Case - Working with Atticus Design we designed and produced 20x custom made promotional DVD cases for presentation at a ceremony for CNN. Our client was playpeople.tv a leading London based creative agency.

26/11/2009 - 234. S4C - Christmas Panto Set - We have just completed the panto set for S4C, third year running. The panto will be touring various schools across Wales this Christmas.

24/11/2009 - 233. Snowmen 12ft Tall - We are happy to announce the completion of 8x bespoke fibreglass snowmen for our client, Sayer Amusements. These snowmen will be on display at many funfairs across Wales this Christmas.

23/11/2009 - 232.' Meet Cardiff in London ' - A Dalek produced by ourselves was borrowed by Cardiff & Co, a Cardiff based marketing agency, to be used at a photography shoot, to promote a business-to-business tourism event.

20/11/2009 - 231. Welsh Water / Hughes Associates - Cardiff based advertising agency Hughes Associates asked ourselves to produce larger than life replicas of a shower head and egg timer. These models were used at promotional events across Wales to raise awareness of the ammount of water that is consumed whilst taking a 4 minute shower. 16/11/2009 - 230. Irish Pre Christian Stone Carving Replicas - Deri Jones & Associates selected specialist models to colour/grade replicas of these unique priceless stone carvings to be displayed at various National Museums of Ireland sites. Photos will follow shortly within the 'Display Section'.

12/11/2009 - 229. Red Box PR - Magic Wand - Red Box PR UK Based Marketing Agency selected Specialist Models to build a 6ft tall magic wand prop for their client ' Magic Wand Learning . com ' . This colour coded wand is to be used as a marketing tool at various events around the UK.

17/09/2009 - 228 - John Lewis Launch Products - To celebrate the launch of John Lewis in Cardiff Specialist Models were selected to produce 3 large scale models of their best selling products. These models were scattered around Cardiff City centre. The 15ft props consisted of a chair, blender and a handbag.

03/09/2009 - 227 - Prop for Yellow Door - Retail Consultants (Oasis) - As a part of Oasis's product range launch for Autumn/Winter 2009, Yellow Door retail consultants commissioned a giant mirrored star to be featured in their photo shoot. Photos will follow after general publication.

14/08/2009 - 226 - Big Brother 10 - Dragon - A Dragon designed & built by Specialist Models appeared this week on Big Brother 10 as a focal point to a British themed house task.

07/07/2009 - 225. Bant A La Cart - Interior/Exterior Refurbishment - Specialist Models have completed the complete refurbushment of 'Bant a la cart' deli shop which lies in a prime location of Pontcana, an affluent area on the outer boundaries of Cardiff city. The concept and interior was designed by Space Buro. The practical design, manufacture of units and installation was carried out by Specialist Models.

21/05/2009 - 224. GUINNESS WORLD RECORD - Specialist Models has built the shoe in conjunction with ingenious design for Tesco's to promote awareness of The Race For Life, a British Cancer Charity. More details can be found within our 'Impact Displays' section.

14/05/2009 - 223. COMMUNICATIONS CONTROL ROOM - We have just completed the build and installation of a mock communications control centre for a global aerospace and defence leading company. This room is a very effective method of displaying their equipment in a simulated desert environment. More details are available within the 'retail and commercial interiors' section of our website.

12/01/2009 - 222. AUTOSPORT 2009 - RALLY FEATURE - Specialist Models were requested by the event organisers to design and build a Rally feature inspired by the Norway WRC stages. Actual rally racing cars were surrounded by flurries of snow, snow covered rocks and even included were real trees.
